Danjire Communications was on site at the Somalia Development Finance Conference in Mogadishu, providing simultaneous interpretation so that delegates from the Federal Government of Somalia, international financial institutions and the private sector could follow every session without a language barrier.

The conference, hosted by the Somalia Development and Reconstruction Bank (SDRB) and officially inaugurated by H.E. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, brought together representatives from the African Development Bank (AfDB), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the European Union (EU), cabinet ministers, private sector leaders and development partners for discussions on investment and development financing in Somalia.

Providing simultaneous interpretation for an event of this scale requires careful preparation: briefing interpreters on the day’s agenda, setting up booths and headsets for delegates, and having a team ready to manage multiple languages across a full day of sessions without interruption.
